Abstract
Hydrological cycle is a highly nonlinear system which makes hydrological modeling very complicated. In recent years Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) proved to be most convenient and easy tool for modeling and analysis of such non-linear events. This paper describes an application of ANN to model these predominant non-linear Hydrological events. Back Propagation (BP) is used for more accurate training of ANN. Here, Fuzzy technique and its interfacing with ANN is also overviewed. This research study is being performed at Central Water and Power Research Station (CWPRS), Khadakwasla (Pune) on Bombay Model.
